How do I export my entries? (Pro)
You can export some or all of your entries from your Penzu account as a PDF, TXT or XML file. Simply follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to your Entries page (or visit https://penzu.com/entries):
2. Select the entries you’d like to export:
3. Click the Export button on the toolbar:
4. A popup will appear where you can select the format you want and confirm the chosen files are the ones you want exported:
5. Choose the file format you want to export your entries as (all entries will export to a single file) and click the “Export” button.
PDF exporting (which includes images), is sent to you via email in a secure way. You will get a link in that email to take you to a download page where the PDF can be downloaded. You must be logged in in order to download the PDF to ensure privacy.
PDF exports don’t include the pad formatting or background styles. An XML file doesn’t either, but allows more portability—XML files can be used to upload your Penzu entries to other services.

Just a quick question, I exported a few entries to PDF just to see if it worked and it did not include my photographs, any ideas why?

Photos are only included if they have been attached and not inserted. Working on a fix!

Hello – question about exporting too.
Would be really useful if it exported to Word or something similar and keep a semblance of formatting and photo’s etc.
Do you think this will be added later?
Don’t want to upload info and photo’s and make a good job if could lose the quality etc in the future if Penzu closed.

Hi folks,
Just tried to export my first entries, which are in Russian. XML and TXT are perfectly OK, but PDF is all garbled (underscores instead of cyrillic letters). I’ve selected droid font for display, if it matters.
Thanks for great service, exploring it

Did you fix it?
Is there a sample of how an export to PDF will look like (with pics)?
Could you clarify on “Pad formatting” not been kept?
thank you
